Kimberly is a freelance professional trumpet player in the San Antonio and South Texas area. Holding a Bachelor’s of Music Education from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Masters of Education with an Emphasis in Kodaly from Texas State University. Kimberly performs a variety of styles including orchestral, chamber, commercial and jazz. She is currently performing with Alamo City Symphony Viva and the Westover Brass Quintet. In addition to orchestral work, she enjoys playing Repiano with the San Antonio Brass Band (SABb). In 1987 Kim was awarded the honor of being the San Antonio United Way Musical Representative. Past performances include the San Antonio Jazz Orchestra, the San Antonio Brass, San Antonio Symphony Pops, Opryland San Antonio, and she has been a founding member several brass quintets in the South Texas area. Teachers include Dr. John Carroll and Jan Roller of the San Antonio Symphony A highly experienced performer with a broad range of styles. Let's talk and see which ensemble is right for your event!
